These are Rhodobryum sp. it is an epiphytic plant
This is the flower of Wahlenbergia marginata commonly known as Hare Bell [Family - Campanulaceae]
This is a fiddlehead of a Pteridium aquilinum (warella) fern. Also considered as an invasive species. Commonly found in the grassland area.

Beauty Of Horton Plains [Post # 04]

Flower of Pedicularis zeylanica. This species can be seen time to time in the grassland area.
This image shows a Lycopodium sp. which comes under family Lycopodiaceae. They are flowerless, vascular, terrestrial or epiphytic plants.
In this area they record the Rainfall, wind speed, wind direction etc.
This is the flower of Michelia nilagirica (wana sapu) and it’s a common tree in high elevation to montane evergreen forests. It comes under family MAGNOLIACEAE.
